+|| Slit is not saved || I can reproduce this new project and slit seems working fine. I tried with AstroBEAR data from the beginning.  || If you have save slit on, render.  Then move the slit to see if the old slit still shows on the image.  Make sure under the image modifiers (the pallet icon where is can select log scale) the Paint Slit modifier is enabled. ||
