I have written a 1D hydro code using Fortran and python together. Python is used to call the excutable and fortran provide the numerically compiled exe.

This is a 1D parker wind.

My goal is to write a 1D radiative hydro code with dust formation and cooling.

I did a constant wind binary simulation last week. The escape velocity for AGB star is approximately 15 km/s. The wind is 24 km/s.

We see gas is not escaping from the system due to the deepened gravitational well. Gas material is more inclined to stay in equatorial plane and it is infalling. It does not have polar outward flow anymore but the density in polar direction is low.
